Got a big boat? You're gonna need a bigger tie down strap. To help you secure the stern of your big boat when your transporting it, we're offering a pair of our 2-Inch wide Ratchet Buckle Marine Transom Strap with Snap Hook. These transom straps not only come with a working load limit of 3,335 Lbs. / 1,513 Kgs but also the length adjustability of 22-inches to 144-inches. What sets this Transom Strap apart is its twisted feature. In big boat applications, it evenly distributes the load over the trailer's welded U Hooks without the Strap twisting. You can use our Strap for stern and freeboard applications.
We've engineered our Strap with the same kind of strength truckers use to haul their cargo. To help you get your boat to the water quicker, we've equipped our Transom Strap with a pair of industrial strength heat-treated carbon steel Snap Hooks. These positive locking 2" twisted zinc plated military hooks do not come loose from the trailer or the boat's anchor points while in transit, making them the secure choice.
The heat-treated carbon steel Kinedyne 804 Ratchet is a good addition for the big guns since this type of Ratchet is typically used for cargo type tensioning, meaning it's been built for securement. Easy to use with a comfortable wide grip, our Ratchet offers superior tensioning of our Kinedyne grey 2084G polyester webbing. A convenient gel coat protector is held in place with a Velcro guide so that it doesn't shift around during transit as it prevents the Ratchet from marring the boat's finish. The protector also allows easy storage of excess webbing.
With a working load limit of 3,335 lbs (1,513 kg) and adjustable length from 22 inches to 144 inches, these 2-inch ratchet buckle marine transom straps are engineered for large-boat stern and freeboard applications. The twisted webbing distributes load evenly over trailer U-hooks to minimize twisting. Each pair includes heat-treated carbon steel positive-locking 2" twisted zinc-plated snap hooks, Kinedyne 804 heat-treated ratchets with wide comfortable grips, and Kinedyne grey 2084G polyester webbing. A gel coat protector with Velcro guide prevents marring and secures excess webbing during storage.
Designed for securement under transport conditions, the combination of twisted polyester webbing, positive-locking snap hooks and heat-treated ratchets provides consistent tensioning and reduced strap twist, improving load stability and minimizing risk of slippage or cosmetic damage to hull finishes.
Yes. The straps are designed for use in both stern and freeboard configurations with adjustable length to accommodate varied trailer setups.
Each strap pair includes heat-treated carbon steel positive-locking 2" twisted zinc-plated snap hooks and Kinedyne 804 ratchets matched to Kinedyne 2084G webbing.
